She later toured Sicily with Anime dal Fondo as part of an educational theatre initiative, before returning to Italy for performances in Teatro Massimo di Palermo’s summer programming. Across both engagements, the production reached more than 25,000 students and audience members.

"Anime dal Fondo is one of the projects I hold closest to my heart. After weeks of rehearsals in New York, we toured schools across all nine provinces of Sicily in May, performing for over 20,000 students. The response from the students was incredible and really stayed with us. And in July we had the privilege of bringing Anime dal Fondo back as part of Teatro Massimo’s summer programming.
Performing on the iconic monumental steps of Teatro Massimo was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. But this summer, the stage wasn’t only there. We also brought the show to ZEN, Danisinni, and Brancaccio, neighborhoods where theatre and the arts are not always as accessible as they should be. At a time when theatre can so easily become a privilege, there was something incredibly meaningful about bringing it directly into these communities, into their streets and public spaces.
The audience at ZEN, in particular, will stay with me forever. That night, theatre stopped feeling like something divided between “performers” and “audience.” It became a conversation. People responded, spoke to us, laughed with us, reacted openly, and became part of what was happening onstage.
And I think that is when theatre is at its most powerful: when it creates a relationship. When it enters places. When it belongs to everyone.
Anime dal Fondo tells a story about addiction and substance abuse, while exploring the human experiences that can lead us down that path: trauma, abuse, loneliness, marginalization, struggles with body image, and the search for relief in the wrong places. But above all, it is a story about hope. About finding your way back through love, resilience, and the courage to keep living."

— AMNOTIZIE
“Starring Diletta Guglielmi and Christian Ceresera, the play brings to the stage the intense and dramatic story of two young people struggling with addiction, vulnerability, and the desire for redemption. A raw yet poetic narrative that explores youth suffering, substance abuse, and the urgent need to find a way out.”

"As a young Italian actress, portraying a character who represents the struggles, hopes, and resilience of early 1900s immigrants was incredibly meaningful to me. It was a journey into the past, a way to connect with the sacrifices and dreams of those who paved the way for future generations. Telling this story allowed me to honor my heritage and the countless untold stories of courage and determination."

"Portraying a woman trapped in psychological abuse, struggling to reclaim her strength and freedom, was an incredibly powerful experience. It made me realize how important it is to me to tell stories about women. Women who are oppressed, lost, vulnerable, yet resilient and ready to fight for themselves and their voices. These are the stories I’m inspired to tell."

WHO IS DILETTA OUTSIDE OF ACTING?
Diletta is constantly working, auditioning, looking for acting jobs and thinking of ways to take her acting career to the next level. She's a Capricorn, with an unstoppable urge to be productive 24/7, while constantly feeling like she isn't doing enough. But when she's not on set or in rehearsal and decides to take a break, she loves getting lost in New York City, wandering through Central Park, discovering cute cafés, and drinking overpriced oat lattes. She loves live music, eating great food, playing pool, going to the movies and criticizing videos of multi-million-dollar real estate properties she can’t afford (yet).
Diletta is also a travel lover. When she was 18, she took a gap year to explore Australia, which was one of the best experiences of her life. If she wasn't acting, and if she was braver, she’d be a full-time surfer. But she is absolutely terrified of big waves and the ocean, so she better do well in her acting career.
"A little fun fact about me: I was born and raised in Crema, a small town in northern Italy, where Luca Guadagnino's Call Me By Your Name was filmed. Luca, if you’re reading this, cast me in your next movie please!
